A gnat flew in my ear. As soon as it did, I started trying to get it out. But it went deeper and deeper. It was buzzing and the further it went the duller the sound got. I'm guessing it's pretty far in, and pretty uncomfortable. It's been about 2 hours now. I tried flushing water in my ear, a q-tip, nothing is getting it out. It might be dead now cuz it's not buzzing anymore, but I feel like it's still in. What do I do? My ear is really sore too.

I'm sure you are sore from all that poking! The best thing to do is NOT to poke but to put an oil like olive oil or mineral oil into the ear canal while head is flat, then turn head and let oil drip out with the bug in it. If no luck then go to doctor. You can have friend look in with flashlight to see if bug is in ear first.

go to the ER they will have to get it out ~ do not dig you don't want to harm your ear drum and you need to go quick before it starts to eat at your ear drum. my dad had a moth fly into his ear and they had to do a lot to get it out and it was nibbling on his ear drum so yes go to the ER ASAP~!
